Hi,

A Silverlight-based version of Wiki-OS has been released today!

The new version brings cross-platform support to Wiki-OS, so that it now runs on both Windows and Mac OS (and Linux soon). It also adds support to more web browsers.

Cross-platform support was the most requested feature since the launch of Wiki-OS.

Other new features include categories, votes, the ability to embed applications into webpages, and more.

Hi ddsw0411,

To download the source code of Wiki-OS, simply log into Wiki-OS.org, click "Applications", click "Edit Project", choose a project, and then copy the code.

For example, the desktop, the window manager, the taskbar, and the startup class (called "StartupControl") of the Silverlight-based version of Wiki-OS are all located in the project named "DesktopProject". The Code Editor is located in the project named "DevelopmentEnvironmentProject". If you need help finding where a class is located, please feel free to let me know.

By the way, as far as the applications are concerned, you can also download their source code by clicking the "Edit Source" button that is located at the top-right corner of any window. You will instantly see all the project classes as well as the referenced projects.
